Monday...

Thanks goodness the temperature has dropped today and the house is not so hard to cool.  When it is above 90 outside, the house gets very warm, especially in the upper level.  I am  now focusing on the swap item I am making for my Facebook friend, Colleen.  She doesn't know what it is so I won't tell until I get it sent out to her, but I hope she likes it.  She said to surprise her, so on I go!   I should be finished by tomorrow!  Following are some things I make for fall that I hope to get to making immediately after this project is done.  These are items I made in the past so the new ones will differ slightly because I do not like to make the same thing over and over again, too boring!

More yummy scented fixinz.....

More original designs....

More home decor...

More seed bags.....
More signs......

More crows....

and more fabric jewels!!!

Ebay items... Primitive art prints

Although these might not be considered "prim", they would work well in primitive decor, I think.   The artist was Kentucky native Nellie Meadows.  Ms. Meadows worked mostly in nature prints, mostly native plants of the area.  The prints are framed and behind glass.  I am a native gardener and I love them and would keep them myself, but I listed them for a friend's elderly mother who had things left over from when she owned an antique store years ago.  The frames show signs of age, with nicks and dings, but other than that, they are in good condition.  I have listed 9 other items of hers that include a set of 9 beanie babies, Flo Blue dishes, and some collectors items.  My focus right now is on making an item for a swap and new things for my Derby City Antique Mall booth,  #146.  Thanks for looking!
Thank you Brenda Ormsby for purchasing these great prints!

A Time for Every Season..... Free Pantry Jar Labels!

Music has taken up a great deal of time lately and I want to do more creating in other ways.  I took a native flute class at Kentucky Music Week and I am really enjoying creating songs of my own with it.
I joined a swap group on Facebook to help get myself motivated to work on other things.  I have created some labels for pantry jars that I will be making and I will add photos of the finished jars when they are done.  I have also accumulated a trove of stencils that I will be putting to use.  I have spent hours searching for information and inspiration and I am ready to begin.
The following images are a couple of the labels that I have designed.

These labels can be printed on paper (they look really prim on Kraft paper) or fabric for any creative use including jars, bags, altered books, scrapbooking, etc...  You may use them if you like.  Please give credit for their design to Teri West!  Have fun with them!
