I have been gettin into grunge this past week!  The latest is grungy hang tags for Halloween!  I printed and applied the images to the tags then hand grunged them with cinnamon several times, sealed them, and topped them off with clear German Glass Glitter!  Two of them have a little rusty bell on the strings and three of them have rusty bells attached to the hole with a rusty safety pin.  This

Thanks goodness the temperature has dropped today and the house is not so hard to cool.  When it is above 90 outside, the house gets very warm, especially in the upper level.  I am  now focusing on the swap item I am making for my Facebook friend, Colleen.  She doesn't know what it is so I won't tell until I get it sent out to her, but I hope she likes it.  She said to surprise her, so on I go!

  The Chicken Coop   Did you watch Oprah's show today?  I watched the introduction and decided not to watch it.  I know that conditions on the farms where chickens are mass produced are unnatural and cruel to the animals.  But I had too much on my mind to tolerate it.      The photo above is one from my aunt's collection.  It may have been my grandparent's coop or it may have been a neighbors.
